For the best results, Midnight Sky Porcelain should always be installed on a properly prepared foundation. Follow these 6 easy steps to install your porcelain paving like a pro.
Excavate the area and install a well-compacted MOT type 1 sub-base to create a solid, even foundation.
Lay each slab onto a full wet mortar bed to ensure complete structural support and to prevent slab movement.
Brush a suitable slurry primer onto the underside of every slab immediately before laying it onto the mortar to achieve a secure bond.
Use paving spacers or a tape measure to maintain even joint widths between slabs.
Sweep in a patio grout until the gaps are filled and level with the surface of your slabs. We recommend Azpects EasyJoint Porcelain. Leave to dry and cure fully.
Wash away any excess installation residue and enjoy your beautifully laid Midnight Sky Porcelain feature.
