Our guarantee ensures you receive, lay and enjoy the best and freshest turf every time.

How It Works

To qualify for the GDT Turf Guarantee, customers must lay their turf and send us a picture within 8 working hours of collection or delivery.

Working Hours

08:00 – 18:00

Example: If your delivery slot is 15:00 – 17:00 on a Friday, your turf should be laid by 15:00 on Saturday.

Proof of Freshness

Once your turf is laid, take a photo and email it to Guarantee@GeorgeDaviesTurf.co.uk.

This timestamped image confirms that your lawn was installed on time and meets our freshness criteria.

Not rolling out your lawn until the next day? We’ll also require a picture of where and how your turf is being stored for Guarantee eligibility.

What’s Covered?

Sod Heat & Blackening

Heat stress or blackening can occur due to temperature shifts and moisture levels in the turf. But sod cannot be identified until rolled out. In most cases, the turf will recover within a week, but if the problem persists, we’ll replace the affected rolls hassle-free.

What’s Not Covered?

Underwatering

If visible tramlines or dehydration indicate a lack of watering, the GDT Turf Guarantee won’t apply.

Delayed Installation

The turf must be laid within the specified time (8 working hours from delivery or collection) to qualify for the GDT Turf Guarantee.

Incorrect Storage

If you’re waiting to lay turf, you must protect your turf from the elements. Failure to prove turf was stored correctly will void your GDT Turf Guarantee.
