REFUND POLICY

 

All our clients are very important to us, that's why George Davies Turf ("Company"), has created the following Refund Policy to let You know how we handle the refunds for the goods ordered and bought on our website http://georgedaviesturf.co.uk ("Website").

The terms "You," "Your," and "Yours" refer to the entity/ person/ organization using our website. When this Policy mentions "we", "us,", and "our" it refers to the Company and its subsidiaries or /and affiliates. The term "goods" refer to any product or item bought on our Website by You.

This Refund Policy is governed by our Terms of Services.

Some of the goods can be returned within 1 day of delivery and are eligible for a refund. You have the right, without giving a reason, to return such goods, if it has not been used, damaged or its appearance has not substantially changed, that is, the appearance of the product or its packaging has been made only such alterations as were necessary to inspect the goods received.

This Return policy does not limit Your statutory rights to withdraw or rights You may have in relation to incorrect, damaged or defective goods.

 

STANDARD RETURNS

Any goods that You wish to return must be in the original packaging and unopened, in a condition fit for resale. If the Goods to be returned do not meet these conditions, we will be unable to offer a refund.

If the item is not subject to an Exception, you must place your refund request within 24 hours of delivery of the item.

You must exercise return right responsibly and return the product in the original neat packaging, as well as return all complete parts of the product. You are responsible for the complete set of the returned goods. If the goods are not complete, we won't be able to accept the returned goods and issue a refund.

Once the Goods have been received and checked by our staff, a refund will be authorised by the same method that the payment was made. Depending on your financial institution, refunds can take up to 14 day to be credited to your original payment method. In all cases we have the right to suspend the refund until the good are received back and inspected.

If You fail to meet the deadlines of our Return policy, we will be unable to offer a refund.

 

Trident Turf:

  • Cancellation: Turf cannot be cancelled within 24 working hours of collections or 48 working hours of deliveries because each order is harvested fresh for you.
  • Return: We cannot take turf returns as it is a live product and would not be in a resalable condition.
  • Refund: Refunds for orders that we accept as cancelled will be refunded in full

 

Open Bagged Products:

  • Cancellation: Collections can be cancelled. Deliveries cannot be cancelled within 24 working hours of the requested delivery date.
  • Return: We cannot take returns for open bagged products as we could not guarantee to the next customer that they would have been stored correctly.
  • Refund: Refunds for orders that we accept as cancelled will be refunded in full.

 

Millboard:

  • Cancellation: Collections can be cancelled. Deliveries cannot be cancelled within 24 hours of the requested delivery date.
  • Return: Returns must be inspected by us to be sure that they are in a resaleable condition. We will not collect Millboard returns.
  • Refund: Refunds will be processed after inspection less a 20% handling and restocking fee.

 

Artificial:

  • Cancellation: Cancellations cannot be accepted once the order has been cut for you as they are cut to your exact sizing.
  • Return: Artificial turf cannot be returned to us as it will not be in a resalable condition.
  • Refund: Refunds for orders that we accept as cancelled will be refunded in full.

 

Special Turf:

  • Cancellation: Cancellations for collections or deliveries will not be accepted once your turf has been harvested. Typically this is within 24 working hours of your requested collection/delivery date.
  • Return: We cannot take returns as it is a live product and would not be in a resalable condition.
  • Refund: : Refunds for orders that we accept as cancelled will be refunded in full

 

Seed:

  • Cancellation: We can accept a cancellation right up until the product is shipped.
  • Return: We only accept returns for unopened, sealed seed products still in a resalable condition. We will not collect them.
  • Refund: Refunds will be processed after inspection less a 20% handling and restocking fee.

 

Fertiliser:

  • Cancellation: We can accept a cancellation right up until the product is shipped.
  • Return: We only accept returns for unopened, sealed fertiliser products still in a resalable condition. We will not collect them
  • Refund: Refunds will be processed after inspection less a 20% handling and restocking fee.

 

RETURN EXCEPTIONS

Your right to return quality goods purchased in the online store does not apply to:

  • Goods that are likely to degrade or pass their expiration dates quickly, such as turf or open bagged materials.

 

DEFECTIVE GOODS

In certain cases, such as defective, damaged or wrong goods, you may be required to provide evidence of the issue, such as a photo or video, or to return the item to receive a refund.

You must contact our company at info@georgedaviesturf.co.uk within 1 day upon purchase and provide detailed information, such as:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Defect evidence (e.g. a photo or video of the item, a photo of the defective area (if it is possible to take a photo), a photo of the packaging, other).
  • Order number
  • When submitting a complaint, You must indicate how You wish the claim to be resolved: To replace the defective goods with quality items
  • To refund the money paid

 

The goods must be returned in the original packaging (with instructions and/or warranty card, if they were delivered with the product).

 

RESTOCKING FEES

Unless the product is defective or the return is a direct result of a Company mistake, we will charge a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price paid less shipping and handling. Upon receipt of your return, we will issue a credit or refund of the purchase price paid, which will be reduced by the amount of applicable restocking.

 

FURTHER INFORMATION

Our Policy does not apply to the refunds for the goods and services offered by other companies or individuals.
