Follow these 7 easy steps to install your perfect circular Raj Green patio:
Step 1: Identify the centre point and mark the circle using a string line, a spray marker or sand.
Step 2: Prepare the ground by excavating the area to the required depth. Remove all vegetation, debris, and loose soil, then rake over to create an even surface. Ensure there is suitable drainage with water moving away from any building or structures.
Step 3: Add a layer of MOT Type 1 as a subbase. Compact into place to create a solid foundation for long-term stability.
Step 4: Add a layer of mortar or sharp sand to create a strong bedding layer.
Step 5: Start from the centre and work outwards, following the supplied laying pattern to ensure accurate alignment. Use a spirit level to maintain a level surface and a tape measure to keep joint sizes consistent.
Step 6: Once all paving is in place, fill the joints with appropriate jointing compound. We recommend Azpect, which can be easily swept into the joints. Sweep in the compound until the gaps are evenly filled and flush with the surface of your paving.
Step 7: Once the joint compound has fully dried and cured, remove any excess and lightly water your beautiful, circular paving.
