When Thomas and the team reached out to us for one of their domestic projects, there was no hesitation. We particularly like the uniqueness of this request – not your traditional paving and turf upgrade, but a full, clover meadow transformation.

The requirements

The aim was to flip a flat, bare back garden into a more natural, characterful space. The client wanted to add colour, interest, and depth to their garden while boosting local pollinators and wildlife. They also required a low-maintenance lawn that could manage itself while still looking presentable.

The outcomes and results

After processing their requirements, Tom, in our friendly customer service team, ordered and arranged delivery of 110 rolls of Clover Turf to accomplish this project. Delivered directly to the site, the team could lay their turf rolls out immediately to ensure quick root-to-soil contact.

Before our arrival, the HDL team cleared, prepared and reshaped the lawn to create gentle curved walkways and small clover-covered mounds throughout the garden. This has created a more natural and peaceful feel to the space, and a gorgeous view for the client to look out upon.
