Each slab is harvested at 35–40mm thick and cut to a uniform size, making it faster and more precise to work with than cutting standard turf on site.
Revetting a bunker isn't a job for standard turf. The slabs need to be the right thickness, the right size, and harvested at the right time to bed in correctly and hold the bunker face over the long term. That's exactly what our Revetting Turf is grown to do.
Each slab measures approximately 0.25m wide x 1.05m long, harvested at a consistent 35–40mm depth. Slabs are laid grass-side down into the bunker face, this is the correct method, and it's what provides the natural drainage through the root zone that keeps the structure performing season after season.
Quantities are calculated by linear metres x height of the bunker face, not by square metres. If you give us the dimensions, we'll work out exactly how many pallets you need and get it harvested to order.

Each delivery of our grass rolls is stacked onto rigid trucks equipped with forklifts. With the use of What3Words, we can place your turf rolls exactly where you need them (within reason).
Long, narrow tracks and gravel driveways are not a problem! Where possible, we can place turf pallets and product bulk bags around the back of your property. All we ask is for 9 ft x 9 ft clear access so the forklifts can get through safely.
