The acquisition follows a long-standing relationship between the two businesses and reflects a shared belief that they can achieve more together than either organisation could independently.

Founded by George Davies in 2001, GDT has grown into one of the UK’s leading suppliers of turf and landscaping materials, serving thousands of trade customers and building a reputation for exceptional customer service, operational excellence and trusted relationships.

Importantly, George Davies will remain actively involved in the business as part of the senior leadership team, providing continuity for customers, suppliers and employees while helping shape the next phase of growth.
