Project Overview

Job Specifications: Extensive work completed on all areas of the landscape, groundworks, irrigation, electrics and foundations completed before a 2 month hold whilst the foundations cure.

Then the hard landscaping was completed including several patios, walls and a feature rill spanning the width of the garden.

Millboard decking was selected as the finish to all decked areas to provide a softer feel to the scheme by breaking the paved areas. A flush transition from paving to decking required lots of planning to ensure the construction was completed within the specifications of a Millboard installation.

Careful consideration to airflow beneath the decking sub frame and protection from damp (for the bridges over the rill) were made before the installation began.

The finish was above and beyond our clients’ expectations and they love the feel of the decking in the main walkway areas commenting on how it performs and feels from their day-to-day use.

The decking really softens the areas and our clients enjoy the ability to walk barefoot over the scheme and comment on how the decking feels warm and smooth underfoot.
