The requirements

This domestic garden already had an old sandstone patio. However, the owners were looking for a refresh – seeking a natural stone patio that would provide colour and texture to their exterior, along with a strong and durable space for entertaining.

The team at Easy Lay Landscaping began by removing the existing patio and preparing the ground – ensuring a flat and even base for the new paving slabs to be laid upon. The Fossil Mint Sandstone range features a variety of slab sizes in earthy tones. So, the team worked hard to establish a pattern that complemented the available space.

With a slab depth of 22mm, once the sandstone patio was laid, each slab was grouted and set into place to guarantee strength and stability across the patio. With a final washdown, this gorgeous natural stone patio was ready for use.
