Golf Courses

The amount of business we do with Golf Courses has increased ten fold over the last five years. This is primarily down to the fact that the level of service we provide our golf courses is second to none.

Not only is the quality of turf exceptional but the ability to off load the turf via forklift truck makes everyone’s life a lot easier. Added to that, if the golf course has a trailer available then it is possible to load the pallets onto the trailer and track them across the fairways and off load them directly next to the tees or greens that have been prepared. Therefore making sure the turf is only handled once and eliminating the risk of damage occurring, whilst also saving you time and money.

Greenscape

Our Greenscape Turf is a hardwearing, weed free fully cultivated turf grown on the free draining sands of North Lincolnshire. It is a mixture of  Fescues, Smooth Stalked Meadow Grass and Dwarf Perennial Rye Grass (The percentages as sown can be seen under product, then Greescape on the home Page). This is an ideal turf for tees and roots extremely quickly.

Lawnscape

Lawnscape Turf is a Smooth Stalked Tees for golf courses that don’t want a rye based tees turf. The Smooth Stalked meadow grass can be as hard wearing as perennial ryegrass and usually has a better tolerance to close mowing. Its rhizomes give good recovery from wear and some drought tolerance. In the harvested turf, the coarser leaves of smooth stalked meadow grass can contrast awkwardly with the finer fescues, but it will fine up and continue to spread evenly throughout the sward under golf course management.

County Greens

County Greens Turf is an 80% fescue 20% bent greens turf grown on a coarse sand rootzone that has been fully treated for Poa Anua. It is ideally suited for Golf and Bowling Greens as well as luxury lawns in some situations.
