Fresh Turf
George Davies pride themselves in delivering fresh, quality turf. In the summer the biggest problem with turf is transplanting it from the field to your garden in perfect condition. Shelf life can be as little as 36 hours, during this period we endeavour to have the turf cut first thing in the morning and delivered to you in the afternoon, still less than 8 hours old. Any balance delivered the following morning is refrigerated in our yard overnight.

We can provide you with this exceptional product “where you want it, when you want it.” We have not only the highest quality super fresh turf, delivered in break-neck times but with special equipment that gets right to the spot.
That may be across a fairway next to a tee or green, through a building site and placed next to a plot number or maybe on your driveway. Our rear-steer truck and telescopic forklift are built to get into the tightest spots so delivery of turf to diffcult places is not an issue.
