OUR DEBUT EXHIBIT AT FUTURESCAPE 2022

You may have spotted on our socials recently that on the 16^th and 17^th November, the George Davies Turf team visited and showcased at Futurescape 2022 – and we had an absolute blast! Hosted at ExCel London, Futurescape is the UK’s largest landscape expo and trade event for the horticultural industry. As the Landscapers’ Choice, we were extremely excited to be involved for the very first time.

Over the last 8 years, Futurescape has become an unmissable event within the industry with the chance to meet customers, industry leaders, like-minded professionals, and industry colleagues such as Rolawn, Sovereign Turf and Lindum Turf. The 2-day event included informative seminars from experts in their field, engaging live events and a range of exhibitors, including us! This was our opportunity to view and test cutting-edge technology, products and new processes for landscaping. As well as seeing the potential future developments for garden design and grounds maintenance.

Our George Davies stand looked incredible too with our fabulous new branding making a bold statement amongst the crowds. But we wouldn’t have been able to make such an impact without the help from the talented team at Nimlock Ltd, who designed and created the entire concept. George, Freddie, Matt and Shannan continuously welcomed visitors, including Mike Miller, Ed Wells, Tom Bliss, Barry Randall, Gareth Wilson, Connor Healey, Chris Bridgman and James Cole, enthusiastically discussing our high-quality turf, incredible service and exciting future plans. We also had Carl Markham from Millboard come along and share his knowledge on composite decking.

Not only was the Expo a great opportunity to share the amazing work that the George Davies Turf team do, but it was also a chance to discuss current challenges and ways we can futureproof the landscaping industry.

For several weeks, a huge amount of hard work has been going on behind the scenes from the team to make sure we promote our values, history and customer service at the Expo. In addition to some incredible feedback at the event, George added:

“Wow, what a couple of days! We didn’t want to just turn up and take part, we wanted to create some noise, which we achieved and more! The feedback from fellow exhibitors and our stand visitors was utterly amazing and made all the effort worthwhile. But it also gave our existing customers and suppliers a really good chance to catch up with us and confirm what I wanted to hear: that the level of service our team provides day in day out is second to none. I am very proud of everyone involved who made our first exhibition one to remember.”
