Wild Flower Turf offers a beautiful, vibrant, and low-maintenance meadow-like lawn.
It’s the most popular turf for designing a biodiverse, attractive, and colourful garden, and is ideal for low-maintenance lawns.
Want to enhance your garden year after year with minimal maintenance? Wild Flower Turf will create the meadow paradise you're looking to create.
As well as bringing a beautiful splash of colour to your outdoor space, our wild flower grass turf is a pollinator's dream with lots of benefits.
Offering a rich source of nectar, this lawn will become a firm favourite of local bees, butterflies, birds, and small mammals, creating an eco-friendly habitat and a calming place to relax.
As landscapers and gardeners become increasingly aware of biodiversity, Wild Flower Turf has fast become one of our best-selling turf products, being the go-to for eco-friendly gardeners and designers across the UK.
Our easy-to-grow turf rolls contain 27 different perennial and annual seeds, like chives and yellow rattle, that will flower throughout the summer. (See our FAQs tab for specific species.)
Growing from seed can be challenging, whereas Wild Flower Turf will provide a blooming haven in an instant.
Our turf also slows soil erosion, acting as a natural canopy against rainfall, wind, and water runoff. This will preserve the soil's nutrients, protect the landscape, and increase the quality of the habitat. Better yet, lawn care is easy; simply cut one to two times a year!
At George Davies Turf, we want to ensure you have exactly what you need to complete your landscaping project to the brief. This is why we are proud to offer different species mixes and plastic-free options should you require. Please contact us to discuss your wild flower lawn turf needs, and we will be happy to assist you.
Product is only half the story at George Davies; delivery and after-care are just as important. We want every single customer to feel looked after right from their very first contact with us.
We service the Bedford and St. Albans surrounding areas, with depots located in Olney and St. Albans that allow us to offer a prompt and efficient delivery service.
Each delivery of our Wild Flower Turf rolls is made on rigid trucks mounted with forklifts, allowing us to place your products exactly (within reason) where they suit you. Long, narrow tracks and gravel driveways are not a problem.
We can place bags around the back of your home, and all we ask is for 9 ft x 9 ft access to enable the forklifts to get through easily. Our skilled drivers are highly trained and cool under pressure. If you have any limitations, please tell us at the point of order or add notes to your online order.
Trust us when we say our drivers truly make difficult deliveries easy.
Use our handy turf calculator to work out exactly how much you’ll need for your landscaping project. Simply input your units, garden shape, and garden dimensions, and we’ll provide you with a recommended number of rolls.
Orders for delivery must be a minimum of 10 m².
Yes! Removing the organic matter is important, as it promotes good airflow, allows the turf to breathe, and encourages new growth in the next season.
There are 27 species in our wild flower mix. The perennials are:

We suggest laying your Wild Flower Turf on the same day it’s delivered, or at least within 24 hours. This will maintain the freshness of the turf and important root health.
If you can’t lay it immediately, store the turf in a shaded, cool spot. Unroll a few strips to release heat and lightly water to prevent them from drying out.
Here are our top tips on how to lay Wild Flower Turf.
Although we don’t offer turf laying services, installing your own turf is easy with our specialist guidance! Find out how to lay turf with our comprehensive, user-friendly video by George Davies himself, or even how to measure your garden before placing your order.

Our blog shares more details on walking on your turf, or head to our YouTube channel, but we recommend waiting up to 3 weeks before enjoying your new turf.
We understand that you may need to walk on it to reach certain areas of your outdoor space, or even to water it, which is why we suggest walking on it as little as possible, avoiding the same path, and wearing smooth-soled shoes.
No, we don’t. We can provide you with 100% plastic-free turf that doesn’t use any polypropylene or plastic membrane.
